Most people think that the purpose of orthodontic treatment is 'merely' an aesthetic looking set of teeth. Everybody should know that this is not the case! Uneven, crowded teeth are difficult to keep clean and may not wear evenly. This can lead to tooth decay, gingivitis, and, by the age of 40-50, even periodontal disease can occur. Well positioned, regular teeth are important!

The ideal time for orthodontic treatment is between the age of 12-18. In the past, treatment was nearly always performed within this age group. Now the technology available makes it possible for us to offer orthodontic treatment to our patients regardless of age!

In our surgery, of course, we prepare regulating appliances for children as well as adults!
